What you can do here
Where our specs come from
Every phone page starts with the manufacturer: official product pages, spec sheets and press releases. We then cross-check the details with established tech publications. Store listings, spec aggregators and anonymous blogs are not used as sources.
If a spec is not officially confirmed, we leave it blank. A missing value is more useful than a wrong one.

How the PhoneRanked score works
Every phone on sale gets a score out of 10. It is calculated from the phone’s specs and measured against today’s market, so an older flagship slowly loses points as newer phones raise the bar. The overall score combines six categories:
Value compares the specs with what the market usually offers at the same price and gives credit for longer software support. Phones that are not on sale yet are not scored. How we rate phones
What we don’t do
- We don’t run lab tests or publish hands-on reviews. Our scores compare phones by their specs.
- We don’t sell scores, rankings or placement. Brands and retailers have no say in them.
- We don’t mix rumors with facts. Phones that are not announced yet are clearly marked as rumored.
How PhoneRanked is funded
Some phone pages link to retailers such as Amazon or AliExpress. If you buy through these links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It keeps the site free and does not change any score, because scores are calculated from specs, not from prices paid to us.

About PhoneRanked FAQ
Is PhoneRanked affiliated with any phone brand?
No. PhoneRanked is independent and is not owned by or partnered with any phone manufacturer. Brand names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the phones.
Which phones do you cover?
We cover phones announced since 2022 from 37 brands, plus upcoming models. Older and discontinued phones stay in the database, so you can still check their specs and see which model replaced them.
Why do scores change over time?
Scores are measured against the current market. When newer phones bring faster chips or bigger batteries, the bar rises and older phones lose a little. A score shows how a phone stands today, not only how it looked at launch.
Which prices do you show?
Phone pages show the official US launch price for each memory version, when the phone launched in the US. Store prices change often, so check the retailer before you buy.
How can I suggest a phone or report an error?
Use our contact page. Include the phone name and, if you can, a link to an official source.
