How we track upcoming phones

This page lists every phone in our database that is rumored or announced but not on sale yet, sorted by its expected date. Once a phone goes on sale, it leaves this list and joins our rankings and Phone Finder.

We don’t publish every rumor. A rumored phone gets a page only when the maker has teased it, it has passed an official certification, or at least two reputable outlets report the same details. Specs that nobody has confirmed stay blank instead of guessed.

FAQ

What does "rumored" mean here?

A rumored phone hasn't been officially announced yet. We add one only when the maker has teased it, it has passed an official certification, or at least two reputable outlets report the same details. Its specs can still change before launch.

What does "announced" mean?

The maker has officially unveiled the phone, but it isn't on sale in any market yet. Its specs and prices come from the official announcement.

How accurate are the release dates?

We show an exact date only when the maker has confirmed it. Other dates are expected windows, such as a month or a quarter, based on official hints and reputable reports.

Why don't some upcoming phones have photos?

We use only official images from the maker. We don't publish leaked renders or fan-made concepts, so photos appear once the maker releases them.

Do upcoming phones get a PhoneRanked score?

Not yet. We score a phone once it's on sale and its final specs are confirmed. From then on it can also appear in our rankings.

How often is this page updated?

Automatically. When we add a phone or change its status, the list updates within minutes. We check for new launches and credible rumors every week.
