The vivo X200T is a flagship phone that vivo announced in India on January 27, 2026. Sales started on February 3, 2026, through the vivo India store, Flipkart and retail partners. It starts at INR 59,999 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In China, the same phone is sold as the vivo X200s.
Design and display
The phone has a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. Its resolution is 2800 x 1260 at 460 ppi. The refresh rate goes up to 120Hz, and vivo lists a local peak brightness of 5000 nits. The panel is not LTPO, so it switches between fixed refresh rates. It supports HDR10+ and uses 2160Hz PWM dimming at low brightness.
The body measures 160.01 x 74.29 x 7.99 mm. Seaside Lilac weighs 203 g, and Stellar Black weighs 205 g. The back is glass, and a round camera island sits in the upper half. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. An ultrasonic fingerprint reader sits under the display.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+, built on a 3 nm process. Its fastest CPU core runs at 3.73 GHz. Both versions have 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot. A vapor chamber handles cooling, and connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an IR blaster.
Cameras
The rear setup has three 50MP cameras with ZEISS branding. The main camera uses a Sony IMX921 sensor (1/1.56 inch) with an f/1.57 aperture and OIS. The periscope telephoto uses a Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS. It offers 3x optical zoom at a 70 mm equivalent focal length. It also handles telephoto macro shots. The third camera is a 50MP ultrawide with autofocus.
On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera. The rear cameras record video at up to 4K and 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The X200T has a 6200 mAh battery with silicon anode technology. It supports 90W wired charging, and the charger comes in the box. With vivo’s wireless charger, it charges at up to 40W. Bypass charging is available during gaming.
Software and updates
The phone ships with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. vivo promises five years of Android upgrades and seven years of security updates. The China model, the X200s, launched earlier with an older software version.
Should you buy the vivo X200T?
The X200T suits buyers in India who want a telephoto camera, a large battery and long software support. It also fits people who need strong water resistance. However, it is sold officially only in India, and it has no microSD slot or headphone jack. Buyers who want an LTPO screen or faster USB transfers should also look at other phones.
