The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL is the largest non-folding phone in the Pixel 11 series. Google announced it on August 12, 2026, and sales started on August 20, 2026. It starts at $1,299 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. That is $100 more than the Pixel 10 Pro XL at launch. In addition, the base model now has 12 GB of RAM instead of 16 GB.
Design and display
The phone has a 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED panel with a 1344 x 2992 resolution and 486 ppi. The refresh rate adapts between 1 and 120 Hz. Google rates peak brightness at 3,600 nits and HDR brightness at 2,400 nits. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the front, and a new anti-scratch shield sits on top.
The back is matte Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the frame is aluminum. The Pixel 11 Pro XL measures 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5 mm and weighs 226 g. It is rated IP68 for dust and water. On the back, HiLight LEDs around the camera bar show alerts while the phone lies face down. Colors are Canyon, Olive, Fog and a matte Obsidian.
Performance
The phone runs on the Google Tensor G6, made on a 3 nm process. Its seven-core CPU pairs one Arm C1-Ultra core at 4.11 GHz with six C1-Pro cores. A Titan M3 chip handles security. The 256 GB model has 12 GB of RAM, while the 512 GB and 1 TB versions get 16 GB.
The XL shares its chip, memory options and cameras with the smaller Pixel 11 Pro. The main differences are the larger screen, the bigger battery and faster wired charging.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 50 MP 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/1.68 lens and optical stabilization. Next to it sits a 48 MP ultrawide camera with autofocus for Macro Focus. The 48 MP 5x telephoto camera also has OIS. Pro Zoom reaches up to 120x.
Rear video reaches 8K at 30 fps through Video Boost, or 4K at 60 fps natively. On the front, a 42 MP selfie camera with autofocus records 4K video at up to 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 5,115 mAh, with a 5,000 mAh minimum. Google rates it for more than 30 hours of use. With a 45W USB-C PPS charger, it reaches about 75% in 30 minutes. Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging, certified for Qi2.2, runs at up to 25W. However, there is no charger in the box.
Software and updates
The Pixel 11 Pro XL launched with Android 17 and Gemini built in. Google promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, NFC, ultra-wideband and a USB-C 3.2 port. In the US, the phone uses dual eSIM and supports Satellite SOS. In other markets, such as the UK, it takes one nano-SIM plus an eSIM.
Should you buy the Pixel 11 Pro XL?
The Pixel 11 Pro XL suits buyers who want a large, very bright screen and a 5x telephoto camera. The seven-year update promise also helps people who keep a phone for a long time. On the other hand, the Tensor G6 trails rival flagship chips in published benchmarks. Buyers who want the same cameras in a smaller and cheaper body can look at the Pixel 11 Pro.
