The Infinix Note 60 Ultra is the top model of the Note 60 series. It is also the first Infinix phone co-developed with Pininfarina. Infinix announced it on March 5, 2026, at MWC in Barcelona. Pre-orders opened in Malaysia on March 13 at RM2,999, and the phone later reached the Philippines at ₱32,999. Infinix has not set an official US price. It targets the upper mid-range segment, mainly in Asia and Africa.
Design and display
The phone measures 162.37 x 77.17 x 7.9 mm and weighs 220 g. It uses an aluminum frame. On the back, one sheet of Gorilla Glass Victus covers the cameras and a small dot-matrix display. It also covers a light strip that Infinix calls a floating taillight. The phone is rated IP64 for dust and splashes.
The front has a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED panel with a 1208 x 2644 resolution. Its refresh rate goes up to 144 Hz. Infinix lists 700 nits typical, 1600 nits in high brightness mode and a 4500-nit peak. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen, and an in-display fingerprint reader handles unlocking.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 in its Ultimate edition, built on a 4 nm process. It has eight Cortex-A725 cores with a top clock of 3.25 GHz and a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. Every version has 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0, and there is no microSD slot. A vapor chamber helps with cooling.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE sensor in a 1/1.4-inch size. It has an f/1.69 lens and optical stabilization. Next to it sits a 50 MP periscope telephoto with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. An 8 MP ultrawide with a 112-degree field of view completes the rear setup. The rear cameras record up to 4K at 60 fps. On the front, a 32 MP camera records up to 4K at 30 fps.
Battery and charging
A 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the phone. It supports 100W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging. Reverse charging reaches 10W both by cable and wirelessly. The retail box includes a 100W charger and a wireless charging base.
Software and updates
The Note 60 Ultra runs XOS 16 based on Android 16. Infinix promises three major OS updates and five years of security patches. Other features include two-way satellite calling and messaging and stereo speakers tuned by JBL. You also get NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It takes two nano-SIM cards and also supports eSIM, but it has no 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Should you buy the Infinix Note 60 Ultra?
The Note 60 Ultra suits buyers who want a large battery and fast wired and wireless charging. It also fits those who want a 200 MP camera with a periscope zoom. Satellite calling adds value for people who travel outside cellular coverage. However, it is sold mainly in Asian and African markets and is not officially offered in the US. Its IP64 rating is also lower than the IP68 found on some rivals. Shoppers looking at other Infinix phones will find this the most premium model in the lineup.
