The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is an upper mid-range phone announced on April 24, 2025. It launched alongside the Edge 60. The phone sells in Europe, India and other markets, but not officially in the US. According to Notebookcheck, Motorola’s European web store sold the 12 GB + 512 GB model for €600. In India, it launched at ₹29,999.
Design and display
The phone uses a 6.7-inch quad-curved pOLED display with a 2712 x 1220 resolution. It runs at up to 120 Hz and peaks at 4,500 nits. HDR10+ is supported, and Gorilla Glass 7i covers the front.
The body is 8.24 mm thick and weighs 186 grams. The frame is plastic. The back has a leather-inspired or nylon-inspired texture, depending on the color. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69 and passed MIL-STD-810H tests.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, sold here as the Dimensity 8350 Extreme. It is a 4 nm chip with a top CPU clock of 3.35 GHz and a Mali-G615 MC6 GPU. Memory options are 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is no microSD slot.
Cameras
The main camera has a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, an f/1.8 lens and OIS. A 50 MP ultrawide camera covers a 120-degree view and also shoots macro photos. A 10 MP telephoto adds 3x optical zoom with OIS. The front camera has 50 MP, and all cameras record 4K video at 30 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery holds 6,000 mAh. It charges at up to 90W by cable and 15W wirelessly. It can also share 5W of power with other devices over USB-C. In Europe, the charger costs extra, while the Indian box includes a 90W charger.
Software and updates
The Edge 60 Pro shipped with Android 15. Motorola promises three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. Moto AI features, Google Gemini and Circle to Search are included. Moto AI can summarize messages and transcribe recordings, but it needs a Motorola account.
Should you buy the Edge 60 Pro?
The Edge 60 Pro fits buyers who want long battery life, fast charging and a 3x telephoto camera. It also adds wireless charging, which the Edge 60 lacks. On the other hand, it has a plastic frame and a shorter update promise than some rivals. Motorola no longer lists it on its European stores, but it is still sold in India.
