The OnePlus Nord CE6 is a mid-range phone from OnePlus with a large battery and a rugged body. It was announced in India on May 7, 2026, and went on sale there the next day. The Indian price starts at ₹29,999 for 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. A global version followed, but OnePlus has not set an official US price. The two versions differ in a few details, which are noted below.
Design and display
The flat 6.78-inch AMOLED screen has 2772 x 1272 pixels and 450 ppi. It reaches 144 Hz in select apps. Otherwise, the adaptive mode switches between 60, 90 and 120 Hz. OnePlus quotes 1,800 nits in high brightness mode and 3,600 nits peak. The panel shows 10-bit color, supports HDR10 and uses 3840 Hz PWM dimming.
The global model measures 162.46 x 77.45 x 8.5 mm and weighs 208 grams. In addition, it carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings and meets the MIL-STD-810H standard. The phone comes in Fresh Blue, Pitch Black and Lunar Pearl. The global version is offered in the first two colors.
Performance
Inside is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 with an Adreno 810 GPU and a 2.7 GHz top core. A separate Touch Reflex chip raises touch sampling to 3,200 Hz. Every version has 8 GB of RAM, with 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD slot. OnePlus also lists a 33,147 mm² cooling area and an X-axis haptic motor.
Cameras
The rear setup has two cameras. The main one uses a 50 MP OmniVision OV50D40 sensor with an f/1.8 lens and optical stabilization. Next to it sits a 2 MP auxiliary camera, and there is no ultrawide lens. On the front, a 32 MP camera has autofocus. Both the main and the front cameras record 4K video at 30 fps.
Battery and charging
The global Nord CE6 has a 7,500 mAh battery, while the Indian version has 8,000 mAh. Both support 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and bypass charging. However, reverse wired charging differs: 6.5W on the global model and 27W in India. Wireless charging is not supported. The global box includes a cable but no charger.
Software and updates
The phone ships with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus promises that the phone will stay fast and smooth for six years. Still, it has not published how many Android upgrades or years of security patches the phone will get.
Should you buy the OnePlus Nord CE6?
The Nord CE6 suits buyers who want long battery life and strong water and dust protection. It also fits those who value a sharp 144 Hz screen and stereo speakers. On the other hand, it lacks an ultrawide camera, wireless charging and a headphone jack. The global version adds NFC, which the Indian version does not have. Buyers who care about long software support should note the missing update promise.
