The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is the camera-focused flagship of the OPPO Find X9 series. OPPO announced it on April 21, 2026, and sales in China started on April 24. It is the first Find X Ultra model sold outside China. UK and European sales began on May 8, 2026. The 12GB + 512GB version costs £1,449 and €1,699. OPPO does not sell it in the US.
Design and display
The phone measures 163.16 x 76.97 mm and uses an aluminum frame. The global colors are Tundra Umber and Canyon Orange. Tundra Umber pairs the frame with eco-leather panels and weighs 236 g at 9.10 mm thick. Canyon Orange has a glass back, weighs 235 g and is 8.65 mm thick. China also gets a Polar Glacier finish.
The 6.82-inch AMOLED display has a 3168 x 1440 resolution and 510 ppi. Its LTPO panel adapts between 1 Hz and 120 Hz, and some games can run at 144 Hz. OPPO rates the peak brightness at 3,600 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the screen. The phone is rated IP66, IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance.
Performance
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 3 nm chip. Its CPU cores reach 4.6 GHz, and the GPU is an Adreno 840. Global models come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, or 16GB and 1TB. China adds 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions. Storage is UFS 4.1, and there is no microSD slot.
Cameras
The rear system was developed with Hasselblad. It has a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.12-inch sensor, an f/1.5 aperture and OIS. Next to it sit a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP 3x telephoto with a 1/1.28-inch sensor. A 50MP periscope camera adds 10x optical zoom at 230 mm. A 3.2MP monochrome camera assists with color. The phone records rear video in 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 120 fps, including Dolby Vision. The front camera has 50MP and records 4K at 60 fps. An optional Hasselblad kit adds a 300 mm teleconverter lens.
Battery and charging
A 7,050 mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the phone. It supports 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. However, the global version ships without a charger in the box. The China version includes one.
Software and updates
The Find X9 Ultra launched with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OPPO promises five major Android updates and six years of security patches for the global version. Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, an IR blaster and stereo speakers. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 handle connections.
Should you buy the Find X9 Ultra?
The Find X9 Ultra suits buyers who put cameras first, especially telephoto and portrait shots. It also offers a large battery, IP69 protection and fast wired and wireless charging. On the other hand, it is heavy at about 235 g, and the global box has no charger. Buyers in the US can only get it through import sellers.
