The OPPO Find X9 is a compact flagship phone with a Hasselblad-branded triple camera and a 7,025 mAh battery. OPPO announced it in China on October 16, 2025, and sales there began on October 22. The global launch followed on October 28 in Barcelona. In Europe the 12/512 GB model costs €999. In the UK it launched at £899. OPPO does not sell it in the US.
Design and display
The phone has a flat 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 2760 x 1256 resolution. It reaches 460 ppi and a 120 Hz refresh rate. OPPO rates its peak brightness at 3,600 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i covers the front. The bezels measure 1.15 mm on every side.
The body uses an aluminum frame and a matte glass back. It measures 7.99 mm thick and weighs 203 grams. In addition, the phone carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water. A customizable Snap Key sits on the left side, and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader sits under the display.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a 3 nm chip with a 4.21 GHz top core. It works with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage. China gets five memory versions, from 12/256 GB to 16 GB/1 TB. Europe and the UK get one 12/512 GB model. There is no microSD slot.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 50 MP 1/1.4-inch sensor with an f/1.6 lens and optical stabilization. OPPO says it takes in up to 57% more light than the Find X8 main camera. Next to it is a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS. A 50 MP ultrawide covers a 120-degree view. A 2 MP True Colour sensor helps with color accuracy.
Digital zoom reaches 120x, with AI processing above 10x. The rear cameras record 4K video at up to 120 fps, including Dolby Vision and 10-bit Log. On the front, a 32 MP camera records 4K at 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The 7,025 mAh silicon-carbon battery is 24.7% larger than the one in the Find X8. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The phone can also charge other devices wirelessly. However, global boxes do not include a charger, while the Chinese version ships with one.
Software and updates
The Find X9 runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OPPO promises five major Android upgrades and six years of security patches. Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an IR blaster and stereo speakers. It takes two nano-SIM cards plus an eSIM.
Should you buy the OPPO Find X9?
The Find X9 suits buyers who want a long-lasting battery and a 3x periscope zoom. It also offers strong water resistance in a 6.59-inch body. It also gives 512 GB of storage as standard in Europe. On the other hand, it has no official US release. Its successor, the Find X10, launched in September 2026. Buyers who want a 200 MP telephoto and a larger battery can look at the Find X9 Pro.
