The OPPO Find X9s is a premium phone in the Find X9 series. OPPO announced it on April 21, 2026, together with the Find X9 Ultra, as a model for global markets. It should not be confused with the Find X9s Pro, a different phone that OPPO sells only in China. In India, the Find X9s starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB/256GB version. OPPO has not announced a US price. The phone is not sold officially in the US or the UK.
Design and display
The Find X9s has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen. Its resolution is 2760 x 1256 at 460 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120Hz, and touch sampling reaches 240Hz. OPPO rates peak brightness at 3,600 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i covers the panel. According to reviews, the panel uses LTPS rather than LTPO technology.
The body has an aluminum frame and measures 156.98 x 73.93 x 7.99 mm. It weighs 202 g. In addition, the phone carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust. A customizable Snap Key sits on the left edge. Color options are Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky and Sunset Orange.
Performance
The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, a 3nm octa-core chip with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. By contrast, the standard Find X9 uses the Dimensity 9500. Every version has 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1, and there is no microSD slot. OPPO pairs the chip with its Trinity Engine for resource management.
Cameras
The rear camera system was co-developed with Hasselblad and uses three 50MP cameras. The main camera has an f/1.8 lens, a 1/1.56-inch sensor and optical stabilization. Next to it, a 50MP periscope telephoto offers 3x optical zoom with OIS and an f/2.6 lens. A 50MP ultrawide with autofocus covers a 120-degree field of view.
Digital zoom goes up to 120x. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera handles calls and selfies. Both the rear and front cameras record 4K video at 60fps, and the rear system supports Dolby Vision recording. Hasselblad Portrait, Master and XPAN modes are included.
Battery and charging
A 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery powers the Find X9s. In OPPO’s lab tests, it lasted up to 36 hours and 18 minutes of video playback. Wired charging reaches 80W with OPPO’s SUPERVOOC charger, which comes in the box. The phone also accepts 55W PPS chargers. However, there is no wireless charging.
Software and updates
The Find X9s ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Its AI tools include AI Recording, AI Writer, AI Bill Manager and AI Mind Space. The phone also supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, NFC, eSIM and an infrared blaster. OPPO’s global product page does not state an update policy for this model.
Should you buy the OPPO Find X9s?
The Find X9s suits buyers who want a large battery and strong water resistance. It also brings a periscope zoom camera to a 6.59-inch phone. It is a fit for markets where OPPO sells it, such as India and Southeast Asia. On the other hand, it lacks wireless charging and uses a USB 2.0 port. Buyers in the US and Europe would have to import it, since it is not sold there officially.
