The phone measures 151.21 x 72.42 x 8.36 mm and weighs about 188 g in Pop White. It is rated IP68 and IP69K for dust and water. A new Snap Key on the left side can launch a chosen feature.
Performance
Inside is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, built on a 4 nm process. It pairs with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage. Europe gets one version with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Other markets also sell 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB models. There is no microSD slot.

Battery and charging
The UK and European model has a 6,000 mAh battery. The global model listed on OPPO’s global site has 6,700 mAh. Wired charging reaches 80 W with SUPERVOOC. There is no wireless charging. In the UK, the box does not include a charger.

Should you buy the Reno16 5G?
The Reno16 5G suits buyers who want a smaller phone with a telephoto camera and strong water resistance. The long update promise is another plus. However, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is a mid-range chip for this price. Buyers who want wireless charging should look elsewhere. In Europe, the Reno16 Pro 5G adds a 200 MP main camera and a faster chip.
