The F7 uses a CNC-machined aluminum alloy frame and a glass back. It carries an IP68 rating, tested in fresh water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes. The phone measures 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2 mm and weighs 215.7 g. It comes in Black, White and Silver.

Software and updates
The F7 shipped with Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. POCO promises four Android version upgrades and six years of security updates. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. There is also an IR blaster, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader. The phone takes two nano-SIM cards.
Should you buy the POCO F7?
The F7 suits buyers who want a fast Snapdragon chip and a very large battery at a mid-range price. Its bright 6.83-inch screen and IP68 rating add to the package. On the other hand, it lacks wireless charging and a telephoto camera. Buyers who want those features can look at the F7 Ultra.
