The DOOGEE V Max 2 Pro is a rugged 5G phone built around a 22,000mAh battery. It went on sale through the official DOOGEE store in April 2026, together with the V Max 2. The two phones share the same hardware. However, the Pro version doubles the internal storage to 1TB. DOOGEE has not published a fixed US launch price, and its store prices change with regular discounts.
Design and display
This is a large and heavy device. It measures 184.9 x 84.6 x 29.4 mm and weighs 635 g, battery included. The body carries IP68 and IP69K ratings, and DOOGEE also lists MIL-STD-810H protection. Two 1,000-lumen camping lights sit on the back, with lighting, flash and SOS modes.
The main screen is a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with a 2460 x 1080 resolution. It refreshes at up to 120Hz. On the back, a 1.05-inch secondary display shows the battery level and charging status without waking the main screen. The phone comes in Black, Silver and Gray.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300, an octa-core 4 nm chip with a top CPU speed of 3.35GHz. It pairs with 16GB of physical RAM. In addition, up to 32GB of storage can work as virtual RAM, although this is not real memory.
Storage reaches 1TB, which is the only difference from the 512GB V Max 2. A dedicated microSD slot accepts cards up to 2TB, so the SIM slots stay free. Connectivity covers 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC with Google Pay support. The phone also supports Push-to-Talk over Cellular for group communication at work.
Cameras
The rear setup has three cameras. The main camera uses a 200MP sensor. Next to it is a 64MP infrared night vision camera for dark scenes, plus an 8MP ultrawide and macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the front camera has a 32MP sensor.
Battery and charging
The 22,000mAh battery is the main reason to choose this phone. It supports 120W wired charging over USB-C. The phone can also charge other devices by cable at up to 33W, so it works as a power bank. There is no wireless charging. A charger is included in the standard package.
Software and updates
The V Max 2 Pro ships with Android 16. DOOGEE has not announced how many Android version upgrades or years of security patches the phone will get.
Should you buy the V Max 2 Pro?
The V Max 2 Pro suits field workers, campers and travelers who spend long days away from power outlets. The huge battery, fast 120W charging, camping lights and night vision camera all target that use. Push-to-Talk support also helps teams on job sites. On the other hand, the phone is very thick and heavy, and it lacks wireless charging and a headphone jack. Buyers who do not need 1TB of storage can save money with the V Max 2, which has the same features otherwise.
