The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is a book-style foldable phone. Google announced it on August 20, 2025, and sales began on October 9, 2025. It started at $1,799 in the US for 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. That puts it at the top of the premium foldable segment, where it competes with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.
Design and display
Folded, the phone measures 155.2 x 76.3 x 10.8 mm, and it weighs 258 g. Unfolded, it is 5.2 mm thin. The frame is aluminum, and the back uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with a matte finish. According to Android Authority, it is the first foldable phone with an IP68 dust and water rating.
The inner 8-inch Super Actua Flex OLED panel has a 2076 x 2152 resolution and a 1-120 Hz adaptive refresh rate. It is covered with Ultra Thin Glass. Outside, a 6.4-inch Actua OLED screen runs at 60-120 Hz and uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Both panels reach up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Google says the gearless hinge can handle more than 10 years of folding.
Performance
The phone runs on the Google Tensor G5, built on a 3 nm TSMC process. Its CPU combines one Cortex-X4 core at 3.78 GHz, five Cortex-A725 cores and two Cortex-A520 cores. The GPU is a PowerVR DXT-48-1536. Every version has 16GB of RAM. Storage options are 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of UFS 4.0, and the two larger versions use Zoned UFS. There is no microSD slot.
Cameras
The rear camera system has three lenses. The main 48 MP camera has an f/1.7 aperture, a 1/2-inch sensor and optical stabilization. A 10.5 MP ultrawide camera adds autofocus and Macro Focus. The 10.8 MP telephoto offers 5x optical zoom with optical stabilization, and Super Zoom reaches 20x. In addition, there are two 10 MP selfie cameras, one on each screen. Rear and front cameras record 4K video at up to 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 5,015 mAh. Google rates it for over 24 hours of use, or up to 84 hours with Extreme Battery Saver. With a 30W USB-C PPS charger, it reaches 50% in about 30 minutes. Pixelsnap wireless charging is Qi2-certified and runs at up to 15W. However, there is no reverse wireless charging, and no charger comes in the box.
Software and updates
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold launched with Android 16. Google promises seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Gemini, Magic Cue and Circle to Search are built in. The phone also supports Satellite SOS, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and ultra-wideband.
Should you buy the Pixel 10 Pro Fold?
The phone suits buyers who want a large inner screen without giving up water and dust protection. The 5x telephoto, Qi2 magnets and seven years of updates are also strong points. On the other hand, it is thicker and heavier than many rival foldables. Also, Google has since released the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, so check the price difference before you buy.
