The OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G is the top model of the Reno13 series. OPPO announced it in China on November 25, 2024. The global model arrived in January 2025. UK sales started on April 3, 2025, at £649. OPPO does not sell it in the US.
Design and display
The front is a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 1272 x 2800 resolution and curved edges. It refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 1,200 nits in high brightness mode. Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen.
Despite the large display, the phone is 7.55 mm thin and weighs about 195 grams. It has an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and a sculpted glass back. Like the rest of the series, it passed IP66, IP68 and IP69 tests. Color options are Graphite Grey and Plume Purple.
Performance
The phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, a 4nm chip co-developed with OPPO. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The UK model ships with 512GB. There is no microSD slot.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an infrared blaster. Stereo speakers and an X-axis vibration motor are also on board.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor. It has a 1/1.56-inch size and an f/1.8 lens with OIS. A 50MP telephoto camera adds 3.5x optical zoom and its own stabilization. The third camera is an 8MP ultra-wide with autofocus.
The 50MP front camera also has autofocus. Both sides can record 4K video at 60fps. An underwater mode lets owners shoot in fresh water down to 2 meters.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 5,800mAh. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, and OPPO lists a full charge in about 49 minutes. No charger comes in the UK box.
The official specs page does not list wireless charging for the global model. OPPO says the battery keeps over 80% capacity after five years of use.
Software and updates
The phone launched with ColorOS 15 on top of Android 15. OPPO promises five years of OS updates and six years of security support in the UK. AI Editor, AI Livephoto and Google Gemini are included.
Should you buy the OPPO Reno13 Pro 5G?
The Reno13 Pro 5G fits buyers who want a thin phone with a real telephoto camera. Its water resistance and large battery are also strong points. Gamers may prefer phones with faster chips at a similar price. OPPO has since released the Reno14 Pro 5G as its successor.
