The OPPO Reno14 F 5G is a mid-range phone from OPPO. It appeared on OPPO’s global website in June 2025. Its first launch event followed in Malaysia on July 1, 2025. It is also sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, but not in the US. In Europe, the same phone is also sold as the OPPO Reno14 FS 5G. That name covers the 12GB/512GB version.
Design and display
The phone measures 158.12 x 74.97 mm and weighs about 180 g. It is 7.69 to 7.78 mm thick, depending on the color. Colors are Opal Blue, Luminous Green and Glossy Pink. Europe gets only Opal Blue and Luminous Green. The Opal Blue model has an iridescent mermaid pattern on the back.
The 6.57-inch AMOLED screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2372 pixels, or 397 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 1,400 nits in high brightness mode. AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+ glass covers the display. The phone is tested to IP66, IP68 and IP69 against dust and water.
Performance
The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. This 4 nm chip has four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 710. Memory is LPDDR4X, and storage is UFS 3.1. Versions include 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. A microSD slot adds more space. Reviews point out that the Reno13 F 5G used the same chip.
Cameras
The main rear camera has 50MP, an f/1.8 lens and optical stabilization. OPPO pairs it with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. There is no telephoto lens. The rear cameras record video at up to 4K and 30fps.
On the front, a 32MP camera with autofocus handles selfies. It records video at up to 1080p and 30fps. The rear camera app also includes an underwater shooting mode.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 6,000mAh. Wired charging reaches 45W with SUPERVOOC, and PPS and PD charging also work. Wireless charging is not available. OPPO includes a charger in many global markets, but the European box has only a cable.
Software and updates
The phone shipped with ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. Reviews report a promise of five major ColorOS updates. The length of security support is not confirmed. Other features include NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and stereo speakers.
Should you buy the OPPO Reno14 F 5G?
The Reno14 F 5G suits buyers who want a large battery and strong water resistance at a moderate price. The microSD slot helps people who keep many photos and videos on the phone. On the other hand, its chip is the same as in its predecessor. The phone also lacks a telephoto camera and wireless charging. It is not sold in the US.
