The REDMI Note 11 Pro is the 4G version of the Note 11 Pro. Its sibling is the REDMI Note 11 Pro 5G. Xiaomi announced both phones at its global launch on January 26, 2022. Sales started in February 2022. The global launch price was $299, and in Germany the phone started at €329.90. It is a mid-range model that Xiaomi no longer sells in its official stores.
Design and display
The phone has flat edges and a frosted glass back. It measures 164.19 x 76.1 x 8.12 mm and weighs 202 g. Xiaomi rates it IP53, so it resists dust and splashes. It came in Graphite Gray, Polar White and Star Blue. In India, the gray and white models were called Stealth Black and Phantom White.
The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen has a 2400 x 1080 resolution and 395 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz and reaches 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the front.
Performance
A MediaTek Helio G96 powers the phone. Its eight CPU cores run at up to 2.05 GHz, and the GPU is a Mali-G57 MC2. Memory options are 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is 64 GB or 128 GB of UFS 2.2. A hybrid slot takes a microSD card of up to 1 TB.
The Note 11 Pro 5G uses the same body, screen, battery and charging. It replaces the Helio G96 with a faster Snapdragon 695 and adds 5G. In return, the 4G model keeps a fourth rear camera, a 2 MP depth sensor.
Cameras
The main camera has a 108 MP sensor of 1/1.52 inch and an f/1.9 lens. It merges nine pixels into one 2.1 µm pixel. There is no optical stabilization. An 8 MP ultra-wide camera covers a 118-degree field of view. A 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth camera complete the quad setup. The 16 MP front camera sits in a punch-hole. Both sides record video at up to 1080p and 30 fps.
Battery and charging
The 5,000 mAh battery supports 67 W wired charging. Xiaomi includes a 67 W charger in the box. Wireless charging is not supported. The phone charges through a USB-C port.
Software and updates
The phone shipped with MIUI 13 based on Android 11. Xiaomi did not promise a set number of Android upgrades at launch. Its official update list shows three years of security support, ending in February 2025.
Other features include stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an IR blaster and NFC in most markets. The fingerprint reader sits in the power button. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 handle wireless connections.
Should you buy the REDMI Note 11 Pro?
The Note 11 Pro is no longer produced, and its security updates have ended. It may still suit buyers who find a new unit at a low price and do not need 5G. It offers a 120 Hz AMOLED screen, 67 W charging and a headphone jack. Buyers who want 5G, faster performance or current updates should choose a newer REDMI Note model.
