The vivo V70 FE is a mid-range phone with a 200 MP main camera and a 7,000 mAh battery. vivo announced it on March 9, 2026, and Indonesia was the first market. It later reached Europe, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. The FE sits below the V70 and uses a cheaper chip and a plastic back.
Design and display
The phone has a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 2800 x 1260 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. vivo rates its brightness at up to 1,900 nits in high brightness mode. The back is a plastic composite sheet. The phone is 7.59 mm thick and weighs 200 g.
Like the V70, the FE carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The fingerprint reader is an optical sensor under the display. Colors are Ocean Blue, Muse Purple and Titanium Silver.
Performance
The V70 FE runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 in vivo’s Turbo version. It is a 4 nm chip with four cores at 2.5 GHz and four at 2.0 GHz. RAM is 8 GB or 12 GB, and storage is 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1. There is no microSD slot. The standard V70 uses the faster Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with UFS 4.1 storage.
Cameras
The main camera has a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor of 1/1.56 inches. It uses an f/1.88 lens with optical image stabilization. An 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree view sits next to it. There is no telephoto camera.
On the front, a 32 MP selfie camera has a 1/3.1-inch sensor. Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video. vivo also adds an Aura Light ring for portraits.
Battery and charging
The V70 FE has the largest battery in the V70 family at 7,000 mAh. It supports 90 W wired charging but no wireless charging. A charger is in the box in Malaysia, while the European box comes without one.
Software and updates
The phone ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo promises six years of security updates and system maintenance. The number of major Android upgrades is not stated.
Should you buy the vivo V70 FE?
The V70 FE suits buyers who want long battery life, a high-resolution main camera and strong water resistance. It also has stereo speakers, NFC and an infrared blaster. On the other hand, it has no telephoto lens, no wireless charging and slower storage than the V70. If zoom photos matter to you, the V70 is the better fit in this family.
