The Motorola Moto G06 Power is an entry-level 4G phone built around a large battery. Motorola announced it on September 5, 2025, at IFA in Berlin, together with the Moto G06. It later launched in India in October 2025. In Europe, it starts at €139 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The phone is not officially sold in the US.
Design and display
The Moto G06 Power shares its body with the Moto G06. It has a plastic frame and a vegan leather back in Pantone colors. The larger battery makes it 8.82 mm thick and 220 g heavy. The body is rated IP64 against dust and water splashes.
The 6.88-inch LCD has an HD+ resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels, or 263 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz and reaches 600 nits in high brightness mode. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the front. Water Touch keeps the screen usable with wet fingers.
Performance
Inside is the MediaTek Helio G81 in its Extreme version. It pairs two Cortex-A75 cores at 2.0 GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.7 GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G52 MC2. RAM is 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X. Storage options are 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB, and a microSD slot adds up to 1 TB.
Cameras
The rear has a single 50 MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens and an ambient light sensor. The front camera has 8 MP and an f/2.0 lens. Video recording tops out at 1080p and 30 fps on both sides. Google Photos editing tools, such as Magic Editor and Photo Unblur, come built in.
Battery and charging
The battery is the main reason to pick this model. It holds 7000 mAh, compared with 5200 mAh in the Moto G06. Motorola rates it for more than two and a half days of use and 28 hours of video playback. It says the battery keeps over 80% of its health after 1,000 charge cycles. Wired charging reaches 18 W. The European box has no charger, while the Indian box includes a 20 W charger.
Software and updates
The phone ships with Android 15 and Motorola’s Hello UI. Motorola promises two years of security updates, until August 2027. Its Indian site lists no Android version upgrades. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5 mm headphone jack are included.
Should you buy the Moto G06 Power?
The Moto G06 Power suits buyers who want long battery life on a tight budget. The 120 Hz screen, IP64 rating and microSD slot add value. However, the HD+ panel, the lack of 5G and the short update window are clear limits. If you do not need the bigger battery, the Moto G06 is lighter and costs a little less.
