The Moto G57 Power is a budget 5G phone from Motorola built around a very large battery. Motorola announced it on November 5, 2025, alongside the Moto G57 and the Edge 70. It went on sale in Europe the same day at a recommended price of €279. An India launch followed later in November. It shares its core hardware with the Moto G57 but adds a 7,000 mAh battery.
Design and display
The phone uses a plastic frame and a soft, leather-inspired back finish. It measures 166.23 x 76.5 x 8.6 mm and weighs 210.6 grams. That is about 18 grams more than the standard Moto G57. Gorilla Glass 7i covers the front. The phone carries an IP64 rating and a MIL-STD-810H durability claim.
The 6.72-inch LCD has a 2400 x 1080 resolution, or 391 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz. High Brightness Mode reaches up to 1,050 nits for outdoor use. A Water Touch mode keeps the screen usable with wet fingers.
Performance
Inside is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, built on a 4 nm process. Motorola calls the Moto G57 pair the first phones with this chip. The CPU has four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. The European model has 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. India gets an 8 GB and 128 GB version. There is no microSD slot.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Next to it sits an 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 119.5-degree field of view. A light sensor helps reduce flicker in photos. The front camera has 8 MP. Both the rear main camera and the selfie camera record video at up to 2K and 30 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery is a 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon cell. Motorola rates it for up to 60 hours of use. The company also says it keeps over 80% of its capacity after 1,000 charge cycles. Wired charging runs at 30W in Europe. The Indian model supports 33W and ships with a charger. In Europe, the box has only a USB-C cable. There is no wireless charging.
Software and updates
The phone ships with Android 16. Motorola lists security updates until June 2028 on its European store. Notebookcheck reports one major Android upgrade, to Android 17. The Indian model also gets one Android upgrade, with three years of security patches.
Other features include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. You also get NFC, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1. A Nano-SIM works alongside an eSIM. The fingerprint reader sits in the power button.
Should you buy the Moto G57 Power?
The Moto G57 Power suits buyers who want long battery life on a modest budget. It also fits people who still use wired headphones. The rugged build and IP64 rating add some peace of mind. However, the LCD panel, slower UFS 2.2 storage, and short update period are clear limits. If battery life matters less, the Moto G57 offers the same core hardware in a thinner, lighter body.
