The OPPO Reno10 5G is a mid-range phone that OPPO launched in Europe on July 4, 2023. In Italy, it started at €499.99 for the 8GB + 256GB version. In the UK, it went on sale on August 24, 2023, for £399. It was also sold in India, Southeast Asia and Africa. OPPO no longer sells it in its official online stores, so it is now a discontinued model. In China, the Reno10 name belongs to a different phone with a Snapdragon 778G chip.
Design and display
The Reno10 5G has a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel with a 2412 x 1080 resolution and 394 ppi. It refreshes at up to 120Hz and supports HDR10+. Brightness reaches 950 nits for HDR content, and AGC DT-Star2 glass covers the front.
The phone measures 162.4 x 74.2 x 7.99 mm and weighs 185 grams. It came in Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. The UK only received the Silvery Grey model. OPPO lists no IP rating for water or dust resistance.
Performance
A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip powers the phone. It pairs with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A microSD card can add more space. In Geekbench 6, the Dimensity 7050 typically scores about 960 single-core and 2,420 multi-core. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC are included. The phone also has an infrared blaster and dual stereo speakers.
Cameras
The rear camera system has three lenses. The main camera uses a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with an f/1.7 aperture. A 32MP telephoto camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor offers 2x optical zoom for portraits. An 8MP ultrawide camera covers a 112-degree field of view. The front camera has 32MP and an f/2.4 aperture.
Rear video tops out at 4K at 30fps. The selfie camera records at up to 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and charging
The Reno10 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery, the largest in the global Reno10 series. It supports 67W SUPERVOOC wired charging, and the charger comes in the box. OPPO says a full charge takes about 47 minutes. There is no wireless charging.
Software and updates
The phone shipped with ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. OPPO promised two major Android updates and three years of security patches. OPPO’s UK security update list gives July 2026 as the end date for the Reno10.
Should you buy the OPPO Reno10 5G?
The Reno10 5G suits buyers who want a slim phone with a dedicated portrait telephoto camera. Its large battery, 67W charging and microSD slot are also useful. However, OPPO no longer produces it. OPPO followed it with the Reno11 series in 2024. The phone also lacks an official IP rating and wireless charging. If you find one at a low price, keep in mind that its promised security support has ended.
