Performance
The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, built on a 4nm process. Its prime core runs at up to 3.3 GHz, and the GPU is the Adreno 750. All versions have 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1, with no microSD slot. To manage heat, POCO uses a 3D dual-channel IceLoop cooling system with a 5,400 mm² surface.
Cameras
The main camera has a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor, sized 1/1.55 inches. It uses an f/1.6 lens with optical image stabilization. An 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 lens completes the rear setup. The rear cameras record video at up to 8K and 24fps, or 4K at 60fps. A 20MP front camera records 1080p video at up to 60fps.
Battery and charging

Software and updates
The phone launched with Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15. POCO promises four Android version upgrades and six years of security updates. For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers and an IR blaster. It takes two nano-SIM cards.
Should you buy the POCO F7 Pro?
The F7 Pro fits buyers who want a sharp 2K screen and a large battery. It also offers strong performance for less than a typical flagship. Its IP68 rating and ultrasonic fingerprint reader are useful extras. However, it has no telephoto camera and no wireless charging. POCO has also released a successor, the F8 Pro, so buyers may want to compare the two.
