The REDMAGIC 11 Pro is a gaming phone that launched in China on October 17, 2025. The global version followed in November 2025. US prices started at $749 for 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. In Europe, it started at €699. It sits in the flagship segment, yet costs less than most flagships with the same chip. REDMAGIC has since released the 11S Pro as its successor.
Design and display
The phone has a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED panel. It runs at 2688 x 1216 with a 144Hz refresh rate. REDMAGIC rates its peak brightness at 1,800 nits. There is no notch or punch hole, because the 16MP selfie camera sits under the display. The rear cameras also sit flush under the glass, so the back is completely flat.
An aluminum mid-frame holds a Corning glass back. The body measures 163.82 x 76.54 x 8.9 mm and weighs 230 g. The phone carries an IPX8 water rating, but it has no official dust rating. Its cooling fan has its own air duct, and dust may enter that duct. Cryo is a matte black finish, while Nightfreeze and Subzero have transparent backs that show the liquid cooling loop. Touch-sensitive shoulder triggers and RGB lighting round out the gaming hardware.
Performance
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 powers the phone, with CPU cores up to 4.6 GHz. A separate RedCore R4 gaming chip works alongside it. Memory options reach 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. To keep heat under control, REDMAGIC combines liquid cooling, a vapor chamber and a 24,000 RPM fan. The company calls it the first mass-produced liquid-cooled phone.
Cameras
On the back, there is a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.55-inch sensor and optical stabilization. It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. There is no telephoto lens, so zoom is digital only. The rear cameras record video at up to 8K and 30 fps.
Battery and charging
The global model has a 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. It supports 80W wired and 80W wireless charging, and a charger comes in the box. The China version uses an 8,000mAh battery instead. The global 11 Pro matches the China-only 11 Pro+ in battery and wireless charging.
Software and updates
The phone shipped with REDMAGIC OS 11 based on Android 16. REDMAGIC promises two major Android updates and three years of security patches from launch. That policy is shorter than what many mainstream flagships offer.
Should you buy the REDMAGIC 11 Pro?
The 11 Pro suits mobile gamers who want a top Snapdragon chip, active cooling and a very large battery. It also keeps a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a fast USB 3.2 port. However, buyers who need eSIM, Wi-Fi 7 or long software support should look elsewhere. The cameras are also basic for the price. At the time of writing, every version was out of stock in REDMAGIC’s official stores. The newer 11S Pro is the direct successor.
