The REDMAGIC 11S Pro is a gaming phone that REDMAGIC first announced in China on May 18, 2026. The global version followed on May 27, and open sales started on June 10, 2026. In the US, it starts at $849 for 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is a mid-cycle refresh of the REDMAGIC 11 Pro with a faster chip and liquid cooling.
Design and display
The phone keeps the flat, transparent design of the 11 Pro. It measures 163.82 x 76.54 x 8.9 mm and weighs 230 g. The frame is aluminum, and Corning Gorilla Glass covers the back. Two colors are offered: Nightfreeze (black) and Subzero (silver).
On the front, there is a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED panel with a 2688 x 1216 resolution. It refreshes at up to 144Hz and reaches 1,800 nits at peak. The 16MP selfie camera sits under the display, so the screen has no notch or hole. The phone is rated IPX8 for water resistance. In addition, it has capacitive shoulder triggers with a 520Hz touch sampling rate.
Performance
The 11S Pro runs on a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version. This higher-clocked edition reaches 4.74 GHz. The 11 Pro used the same chip at 4.6 GHz. REDMAGIC pairs it with its own RedCore R4 gaming chip. Memory options are 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot.
Cooling is the main focus. The AquaCore system combines flowing liquid cooling with a 24,000 RPM fan and a 13,116 mm² vapor chamber. Unlike the China base model, every global unit gets the liquid cooling loop.
Cameras
The rear setup has three cameras. The main camera uses a 50MP 1/1.55-inch sensor with an f/1.88 lens and optical stabilization. Next to it, there is a 50MP ultrawide and a 2MP auxiliary camera. Video recording goes up to 8K at 30fps. On the front, the 16MP under-display camera uses an f/2.0 lens.
Battery and charging
The global model has a 7,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 80W wireless charging. It also supports both wired and wireless reverse charging. A charger comes in the box. The China version is different: it has an 8,000mAh battery and no wireless charging.
Software and updates
The phone ships with REDMAGIC OS 11.5 based on Android 16, with Gemini built in. REDMAGIC promises two major Android upgrades and three years of security updates from launch. Other features include stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, NFC and Bluetooth 5.4. The USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port supports DisplayPort output. The phone takes two nano-SIM cards but does not support eSIM.
Should you buy the REDMAGIC 11S Pro?
The REDMAGIC 11S Pro suits mobile gamers who want sustained performance, triggers and a screen without a cutout. The large battery, fast wireless charging and headphone jack add to its appeal. However, buyers who care most about photos should note the lack of a telephoto camera. The software support window is also shorter than on many flagships. Owners of the 11 Pro will find only small changes, mainly the faster chip and the upgraded cooling.
