The vivo V60 Lite 5G is a mid-range phone built around a 6,500 mAh battery and a thin body. vivo announced it in Taiwan on September 8, 2025, and sales there began on September 23. Its Taiwan launch price was NT$13,990 for the 8 GB + 256 GB model. The phone is also sold in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. A separate 4G model, the V60 Lite, uses a Snapdragon 685 chip instead.
Design and display
The phone has a flat 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 2392 x 1080 resolution and 387 ppi. The refresh rate goes up to 120 Hz, and vivo lists a local peak brightness of 3,000 nits. HDR10+ is supported, and the screen is covered by vivo’s Shield Glass.
The black and blue versions are 7.59 mm thick, while the pink one is 7.69 mm. All of them weigh 194 g. The back is a plastic composite, and the body is rated IP65 against dust and water jets. Global colors are Titanium Blue and Elegant Black, while Europe gets Pop Pink and Elegant Black.
Performance
Inside is the Turbo version of the Dimensity 7360, a 4 nm chip with a built-in 5G modem. It has four cores at 2.5 GHz and four at 2.0 GHz. RAM is 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4X, and storage is 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1. There is no microSD slot.
vivo claims about 60% higher overall performance than the V50 Lite 5G with its Dimensity 6300. Storage also moves from UFS 2.2 on that model to faster UFS 3.1.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor with a 1/1.95-inch size and an f/1.79 lens. vivo does not list optical stabilization for it. An 8 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 lens sits next to it. The selfie camera has 32 MP and an f/2.45 lens.
Both the front and rear cameras can record 4K video. A ring-shaped Aura Light with adjustable color temperature works as a fill light for portraits.
Battery and charging
The 6,500 mAh battery supports 90W wired charging. vivo says a full charge takes about 52 minutes. Bypass charging can power the phone directly during games to reduce heat. There is no wireless charging.
vivo says the battery keeps at least 80% of its capacity after about five years of typical use. The charger is in the box in Asia and the Middle East, but vivo’s European specs list no charger.
Software and updates
The phone ships with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. Google Gemini and vivo AI tools such as AI Erase 3.0 are included. vivo has not announced how many OS or security updates it will receive.
Connectivity includes NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and dual 5G SIMs. The European model also supports eSIM. Stereo speakers and an optical in-display fingerprint reader are included, but there is no headphone jack.
Should you buy the vivo V60 Lite 5G?
The V60 Lite 5G suits buyers who want long battery life and fast charging in a thin body. The 4 nm chip and UFS 3.1 storage are clear upgrades over the V50 Lite 5G.
On the other hand, the main camera lacks optical stabilization, and there is no wireless charging. vivo has also not promised a number of software updates, and European buyers need their own charger.
