The Blackview Rock 2 Pro is a rugged 5G phone with a 15,000mAh battery. A 400-lumen camping light sits on its back. It went on sale in early 2026 through Blackview’s own store and Banggood. Coverage at launch put the starting price at around $250, for a single 8GB + 256GB version. It sits in the budget rugged segment, next to models from Ulefone, DOOGEE and Oukitel.
Design and display
This is a heavy device. It measures 187.6 x 85.8 x 26 mm and weighs 558 g. Blackview uses an aluminum frame, a composite back and rubber corners. The phone carries IP68 and IP69K ratings and MIL-STD-810H certification. Blackview says it was tested for 1.2 m drops and temperatures from -20°C to 60°C.
The front has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution (720 x 1604). It refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 650 nits. Panda Glass covers the panel. The camping light has three brightness levels and an SOS mode. A programmable side key can open the flashlight, the SOS function, the underwater camera or push-to-talk.
Performance
Inside is the 6nm Unisoc T8100, the chip formerly sold as the Unisoc T760. It has four Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.2 GHz. Graphics run on a quad-core Mali-G57 GPU. Memory is 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, plus 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A microSD card of up to 512GB fits in the hybrid SIM tray. In Geekbench 6, retail units score about 750 single-core and 2,370 multi-core.
Cameras
The rear has a 16MP main camera. Blackview does not list specs for the other lenses in the camera ring. Selfies come from a 13MP front camera. The software adds night, portrait and beauty modes, as well as an underwater camera mode. There is no night vision or zoom camera.
Battery and charging
The 15,000mAh battery is the main feature. It charges at up to 33W over USB-C. The phone can also charge other devices by cable at 5W. There is no wireless charging. In the EU, the official store sells it with or without a power adapter.
Software and updates
The Rock 2 Pro runs DokeOS 5.0 based on Android 16. Blackview adds its Doke AI tools, which connect to third-party models for chat, search and photo editing. NFC and dual-SIM 5G are supported. Blackview has not published a set number of OS upgrades or years of security patches.
Should you buy the Blackview Rock 2 Pro?
The Rock 2 Pro suits people who work or camp outdoors and want several days away from a charger. The bright flashlight and IP69K sealing also help on job sites. However, it is very thick and heavy, and the screen has a low resolution. The cameras are basic as well. Buyers who want thermal imaging or night vision should look at other rugged models.
