The OPPO Reno13 F 5G is the most affordable 5G model of the Reno13 series. OPPO launched it in January 2025. In the UK, it went on sale on April 3, 2025, at £329. This is the 5G version. A separate 4G-only Reno13 F is sold in parts of Asia and the Middle East. A 12GB + 512GB version is sold in Europe as the Reno13 FS 5G. In Japan, the same phone is sold as the OPPO Reno13 A.
Design and display
The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1,200 nits in high brightness mode. AGC Dragontrail Star2 glass covers the screen.
The body is 7.76 mm thin and weighs about 192 grams. Like the pricier models, it passed IP66, IP68 and IP69 tests. Colors include Graphite Grey, Luminous Blue and, in some markets, Plume Purple.
Performance
Power comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with an Adreno 710 GPU. The UK model has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Other markets offer up to 12GB and 512GB. A microSD card slot adds more space.
The 4G Reno13 F uses a MediaTek Helio G100 chip instead and lacks 5G. Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC are supported, although NFC depends on the region. There are stereo speakers, but no infrared blaster.
Cameras
The main rear camera has 50MP, an f/1.8 lens and OIS. It is joined by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Rear video tops out at 4K and 30fps.
The front camera has 32MP and an f/2.4 lens. It records video at up to 1080p and 30fps. The phone also supports underwater photos in fresh water.
Battery and charging
The battery has a typical capacity of 5,800mAh. Wired charging reaches 45W with SUPERVOOC, PD and QC support. OPPO says it charges from 1% to 44% in 30 minutes. There is no charger in the UK box and no wireless charging.
Software and updates
The phone launched with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. In the UK, OPPO promises five years of OS updates and six years of security fixes. AI editing tools and Google Gemini are included.
Should you buy the OPPO Reno13 F 5G?
This phone suits buyers who want strong water resistance and long battery life on a budget. The microSD slot is useful for people who store a lot of media. However, the chip is modest and the selfie camera records only 1080p video. Its successor is the Reno14 F 5G.
