The REDMI Note 13 Pro is the 4G version of the REDMI Note 13 Pro. Xiaomi announced it at its global launch event on January 15, 2024. In Europe, it launched at €349.90 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A separate REDMI Note 13 Pro 5G uses a different chipset and adds 5G. In 2025, Xiaomi brought the same hardware back in a new design as the REDMI Note 14S.

Design and display

The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It refreshes at up to 120 Hz and shows 10-bit color. Xiaomi rates peak brightness at 1,300 nits. The panel uses 1920 Hz PWM dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects it.

The body measures 161.1 x 74.95 x 7.98 mm and weighs 188 g. It carries an IP54 rating against dust and splashes. The colors are Forest Green, Lavender Purple and Midnight Black.

Performance

Inside is the Helio G99-Ultra, Xiaomi’s name for its version of the MediaTek Helio G99. The 6 nm chip has an octa-core CPU up to 2.2 GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone comes with 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage options reach 512 GB of UFS 2.2, and a hybrid slot takes microSD cards up to 1 TB.

The REDMI Note 13 Pro 5G uses a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 instead. It also has a sharper 2712 x 1220 display and a 5,100 mAh battery. However, only this 4G model supports microSD cards.

Cameras

The main camera has a 200 MP sensor with an f/1.65 aperture and optical image stabilization. The 1/1.4-inch sensor combines 16 pixels into one 2.24 µm pixel. An 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera complete the rear setup. Rear video goes up to 1080p at 60 fps. The 16 MP front camera also records 1080p video at up to 60 fps.

Battery and charging

The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. It supports 67 W wired charging, and the charger comes in the box in most regions. There is no wireless charging. The phone also has NFC in most markets, an IR blaster, dual speakers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Software and updates

The REDMI Note 13 Pro launched with MIUI 14. Xiaomi says the software passed a 48-month aging test in its labs. The official specifications do not state how many Android upgrades or security update years the phone gets. It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Should you buy the REDMI Note 13 Pro?

The REDMI Note 13 Pro suits buyers who want a 200 MP OIS camera and fast charging without 5G. Its microSD slot and headphone jack also help. On the other hand, the Helio G99-Ultra is slower than the chips in many phones at this price. Buyers who need 5G or more speed should consider the REDMI Note 13 Pro 5G. The POCO M6 Pro shares the same body but uses a 64 MP main camera.
