In Germany, it launched at €799.90 for the 8 GB + 256 GB version. Xiaomi no longer sells it in its European stores, and the Xiaomi 13T Pro followed it in 2023.
Design and display
The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and 446 ppi. The refresh rate adapts between 30, 60, 90 and 120 Hz. Xiaomi rates the peak brightness at 900 nits. The panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass 5 covers it.
The body measures 163.1 x 75.9 x 8.6 mm and weighs 205 g. It pairs a matte glass back with a plastic frame. There is no official IP rating for water or dust. Xiaomi sold it in three colors: Black, Silver and Blue.
Performance
Inside is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, built on a 4 nm process. Its fastest core runs at up to 3.2 GHz. Xiaomi offered 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB versions. Memory is LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.1 storage, and there is no microSD slot. A large vapor chamber of 3,725 mm² handles cooling. The 128 GB version was meant for selected markets and was not listed in Germany.
Cameras
The main camera uses a 200 MP sensor with a 1/1.22-inch size. It has an f/1.69 lens and optical stabilization. An 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 120-degree view and a 2 MP macro camera complete the rear setup. There is no telephoto lens. Video recording reaches 8K at 24 fps and 4K at 60 fps. On the front, a 20 MP camera records up to 1080p at 60 fps.

Software and updates
The phone shipped with MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Xiaomi promised three major Android updates and four years of security patches. According to Xiaomi’s support page, security updates ended on October 13, 2026. Other features include NFC, an IR blaster, stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and an in-display fingerprint reader. There is no headphone jack.
Should you buy the Xiaomi 12T Pro?
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is no longer produced, and its security updates have ended. It still offers a fast chip, a 200 MP main camera and 120 W charging. However, the lack of updates is a real drawback for daily use today. Buyers who want current software support should look at its successor, the Xiaomi 13T Pro, or a newer model.
