In Europe, it costs €999.90 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model. Xiaomi does not sell it officially in the US.

The phone has a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with a 2670 x 1200 resolution and 460 ppi. The LTPO panel changes its refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Peak brightness reaches 3,000 nits, and the screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Gorilla Glass Victus covers the display, and an aluminum frame holds the glass back. The phone weighs 193 g and is 8.2 mm thick. It is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. Global colors are Black, White and Jade Green. China also got Snow Mountain Pink, plus limited Aqua Blue and Verdant Green editions.
Performance
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, built on a 4 nm process. Its fastest core reaches 3.3 GHz. The global model has 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage is 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0. There is no microSD card slot.
Cameras
The rear has three 50 MP cameras with Leica Summilux lenses. The main camera uses the Light Fusion 900 sensor, sized 1/1.31 inches. It has an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization.
A 75 mm floating telephoto camera gives 3.2x optical zoom and also has stabilization. It can focus as close as 10 cm. The ultrawide camera covers a 115-degree field of view. The rear cameras record 8K video at 24 fps and 4K Dolby Vision video at 60 fps. The 32 MP front camera records 4K at up to 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery is rated at 4,610 mAh. Wired charging reaches 90 W, and Xiaomi says a full charge takes 31 minutes in Boost mode. The phone also supports 50 W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The global box includes a charger and a protective case.
Software and updates
The Xiaomi 14 shipped with Android 14 and Xiaomi HyperOS. Xiaomi promises four years of Android updates and five years of security patches for the global model. Other features include stereo speakers, an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds.
Should you buy the Xiaomi 14?
The Xiaomi 14 suits buyers who want a small phone with flagship parts. It pairs a 6.36-inch screen with three 50 MP Leica cameras and fast charging. Its battery is smaller than in many larger flagships, though. It has no official US release, so US buyers must import it. The Xiaomi 15 is its successor and offers a newer chip.
