The HONOR Magic7 Pro is a flagship phone from HONOR. It was announced in China on October 30, 2024, and went on sale there on November 8. The European launch followed on January 15, 2025. In Europe, the 12 GB and 512 GB model had a list price of about €1,300. The Magic8 Pro replaced it in late 2025.

The phone has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1280 x 2800 pixels and 453 ppi. The refresh rate moves between 1 and 120 Hz. Peak brightness reaches 5,000 nits for HDR and 1,600 nits across the full screen. HONOR uses 4320 Hz PWM dimming and NanoCrystal Shield glass on the front.
The back is frosted glass with a cloud-like pattern. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, so it also resists high-pressure water jets. It measures 162.7 x 77.1 x 8.8 mm and weighs about 223 g.
Performance
The Magic7 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite with an Adreno 830 GPU. Two prime cores reach 4.32 GHz. The European model pairs 12 GB of RAM with 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. China also got 12/256 GB, 16/512 GB and 16 GB/1 TB versions. There is no memory card slot.
Cameras
The 50 MP main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a variable f/1.4 to f/2.0 aperture and OIS. Next to it sit a 50 MP ultrawide camera and a 200 MP periscope telephoto. The telephoto has a 1/1.4-inch sensor, 3x optical zoom and OIS. Rear video tops out at 4K and 60 fps.
The front has a 50 MP camera and a 3D depth sensor for secure face unlock. HONOR also moved to an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display. The selfie camera records 4K video.
Battery and charging
European and UK models use a 5,270 mAh silicon-carbon battery. The Chinese version has a larger 5,850 mAh cell. Wired charging reaches 100 W, and wireless charging reaches 80 W. The box includes a USB-C cable, but no power adapter.
Software and updates
The Magic7 Pro launched with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. HONOR promises seven years of Android OS and security updates. Connectivity includes 5G, tri-band Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and an IR blaster. The USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1. The phone accepts two Nano-SIMs, a Nano-SIM and an eSIM, or two eSIMs.
Should you buy the Magic7 Pro?
The Magic7 Pro fits buyers who want a strong zoom camera, IP69 protection and long software support. Both 3D face unlock and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader are on board. European buyers get a smaller battery than Chinese buyers. HONOR does not sell the phone in the US. The newer Magic8 Pro adds a larger battery and a faster chip.
