The Motorola Razr+ 2025 is the middle model of the 2025 Motorola Razr flip phone family. Motorola announced it on April 24, 2025. It went on sale in the US on May 15, 2025. The only version, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, cost $999.99. The phone is sold in the US only and has no global twin.
Design and display
The design stays close to the Razr+ 2024. New for 2025 are IP48 dust and water protection and a titanium-reinforced hinge plate. The back has a soft-touch, leather-inspired finish. PANTONE Mocha Mousse, the Pantone Color of the Year 2025, is one of the colors.
The 4.0-inch external display shows 1272 x 1080 pixels at up to 165Hz. It can run full apps, games and Google Maps without opening the phone. Inside, a 6.9-inch pOLED panel with 2640 x 1080 pixels also reaches 165Hz. Motorola rates it at 3,000 nits peak brightness.
Performance
The phone keeps the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 of its predecessor. It is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. RAM Boost can add up to 12 GB of virtual memory from storage. There is no microSD slot. In a PhoneArena test, the phone scored 1,896 single-core and 4,814 multi-core points in Geekbench 6. That is ahead of the Razr+ 2024 in multi-core work.
Cameras
The rear pairs a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Unlike the other 2025 Razr models, it has no ultrawide camera. The main lens is f/1.7, and the telephoto is f/2.0. A 32MP camera sits inside the main screen. Rear video reaches 4K at 60 fps.
Battery and charging
The battery is the smallest in the lineup at 4,000 mAh. It supports 45W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Chargers are sold separately. Motorola says about 12 minutes of charging gives a typical user up to 12 hours of use.
Software and updates
The Razr+ 2025 shipped with Android 15 and Motorola’s Hello UX. Motorola promises three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. Moto AI and Google Gemini work from the external display.
Should you buy the Motorola Razr+ 2025?
It suits buyers who want a large, fully usable external screen. It also brings a flagship-class chip for less than the Razr Ultra. The 2x telephoto helps with portraits and distant subjects. On the other hand, the battery is small, and there is no ultrawide camera. Its successor is the Razr+ 2026.
